To our valued customers,
The safety and security of our customers and staff remains our highest priority here at Timber Lodge. We are confident you are staying informed concerning the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) into the Northeast Ohio region and the impact it’s having on our communities.
We also want to share information specific to Timber Lodge Medina as we work closely with local, state and federal health officials, as well as the National Restaurant Association, to receive the latest information and recommendations concerning this important issue.
It is important to note that the foodservice industry follows local public health guidelines. To meet these guidelines, restaurants have safety protocols and best practices in place, which includes guidance from ServSafe, which is the industry’s leading provider of educational resources, programs and training.
Another important fact is that there is NO evidence that this virus can be transmitted through food. The virus is only known to spread person-to-person through respiratory droplets. As a result, this document contains information on how we are mitigating risk as your concerns, personal safety and experience with Timber Lodge is of utmost importance:
Disinfecting:
• All high touch surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected on an on-going, continuous basis including door handles, light switches, menus, tables, countertops, sink fixtures, etc.
• Customers will be provided with additional napkins or tissues to use when they cough or sneeze.
• Employees and customers exhibiting any flu-like symptoms are expected to stay home until they are symptom free.
• Refresher training on hand washing policies and procedures has been done with all our employees. You can view the information here.
• Rest assured we are following the recommended procedures related to cleaning and disinfecting everything that needs to be disinfected and that we have sufficient supplies of cleaning products and equipment to do so on an on-going basis.
Personal Care:

• Refrain from sharing food and beverage utensils.
